The 2024 Siena in Siena pilot trip is in full swing, with our twenty Year 9 students and accompanying staff thoroughly enjoying their experience! Their journey began in Rome, where they marvelled at the picturesque Trevi Fountain, explored the fascinating four levels of underground passages at the Catacombs of Domitilla, and enjoyed guided tours of the Vatican Museum, St Peter’s Basilica and the Sistine Chapel.

The next day featured a visit to the iconic Spanish Steps, a stroll along Via Del Corso for some shopping, and an exploration of the Colosseum and the Roman Forum. The day ended on a lively note with a dance around the elephant statue and a delightful dinner at Piazza Navona! On their final day in Rome, the students had the privilege of meeting the Australian Ambassador to the Holy See, Ms Chiara Porro and visiting Santa Sabina.
