The 2024 Siena in Siena pilot group has safely arrived in Chianti village, where they received a warm welcome from the local community. They have already explored the nearby monastery, visited the Tavarnelle Museum and enjoyed authentic Italian pizza in Barberino!

A highlight of the trip has been the visit to the city of Siena, where students followed in the footsteps of St Catherine, learning fascinating details about her life. This unique opportunity allowed our Year 9 students to connect with Siena’s rich history – including discovering the origin of the iconic rust colour of our College blazers!
